AIZoOM Enters MVP Development Phase Following Successful Needs Assessment

After an intensive period of stakeholder consultations throughout Q3 2025, involving the Ministry of Health, the National Center for Zoonotic Diseases (NCZD), and rural health workers, the AIZoOM project has officially transitioned into the technical development phase.
Key Findings from the Needs Assessment
Our consultations revealed several critical requirements for the platform to be successful in rural Mongolia:
- Offline-First Architecture: Mobile applications must be able to log Bluetooth proximity encounters completely offline, syncing with the central database only when the health worker reaches an area with cellular coverage.
- Low Battery Consumption: Given the limited access to electricity in nomadic communities, the BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) polling rate has been optimized to drain less than 3% of a standard smartphone battery per day.
- Data Privacy: All proximity logs will use rotating, anonymous cryptographic keys, ensuring that personal identities are never transmitted to the central server unless a positive case is confirmed by an authorized health official.
The development of the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) is scheduled for completion by the end of Q1 2026, keeping the project strictly on its planned roadmap.
